“Grieving is a soul cleansing way to reclaim and recover our spirit.” - Sobonfu Some
This is a gathering honoring our shared human experience of grief.
Because grief is normal and we do not need to be in it alone.
We are all touched by grief. It is experienced through losing what we love, in the sorrows of our world, in what we expected but didn’t receive, in shame we hold and our parts not loved, in ancestral grief passed down generation to generation…
Grief is a natural part of the human experience - the inseparable companion of love, connection, and an open heart. As we deepen our capacity to be with our sorrow and grief we simultaneously open ourselves to living an open hearted life.
We come together in ritual to honor this experience. Ritual brings us into alignment with something bigger and more potent than our individual lives. It is a space in which our inner world feels supported and witnessed by something larger than ourselves. Nothing fancy or special is required, just your willingness and presence. No expectation or pressure to process in any particular way. Showing up and being you is enough.
