108 accessible sun salutations & mala making

Let's ground and discover the beauty of a devotional practice.

We will move, breathe, and create a ritual object, and emerge with rememberance of our intentions.
Pre-registration required. Please learn more and get tickets here:

With a combined nearly 50 years of experience, Nica and Suzi will guide you to the center of where breath meets form. We begin by deepening our personal practice through a mellow and strong vinyasa-based flow that explores the meaning of 108 salutations guided by Nica. Then we will move into a ritual art-making experience through Suzi's expert mala making, with historical and devotional contexts.

Nica will offer a deep practice that builds intention through preparing the body, and moving towards 108 surya namaskars in a way that is soft and accessible (for all levels, as we begin simply with the breath), and apply our prayers to form: the beads that will make our mala.

After a restorative conclusion, Suzi will guide you to create your own mala, with the whole of the history and meaning from her depth of knowledge.
